“My mum taught me how to dot paint and told me stories when I was young, my family inspire me to paint if I’m feeling down or depressed I think of my family and I paint and it relaxes me and makes me focus on good times with family than on the bad things I’ve been through. I started painting two years ago as a way help manage depression, painting helps me relax and keeps my mind occupied. I have 6 sons, two of which are twins, who are learning their culture by dancing singing and also painting.”
