Artist: Wendy Jackamarra

The painting is about a book that my grandmother wrote about her family heritage.  Her grandfather was John Septimus Roe who was the first Surveyor General of WA.  Her father is George Harriot Roe the son of John Septimus Roe.  My grandmother lived at Thankgoo Station with her mother and father until she and her sisters were taken and sent to Beagle Bay and later Mullewa.
